Oreo Joseph Haynes: Cocker Spaniel

Oreo was my first dog and, aside from my love for animals, was my inspiration for becoming a groomer. He is a sweetheart most of the time, but doesn't do anything he doesn't want to! He loves to come to work with me and tags along almost everyday. *Update* Unfortunately, Oreo is now completely blind from glaucoma. He was due to have his cataract surgery prior to both his eyes going bad, but things just didn't work out for my poor guy. He still is doing great and is healthy aside from that and still enjoys coming to work and showing off his colors!

Tito is our special little guy. He is a character who loves to love and is always making us smile. He is timid around strangers but is an angel once he gets to know new people. He would rather not come to work, because he knows it could be bath time at any moment :)

Miss Talison Fajita Frumply: Long Hair Chihuahua

Miss Frumply joined our family when she was 7 months old. She was very timid and took a long time to trust anyone other than her mommy. She has gotten over most of her fears and has become a little social butterfly to anyone who comes over to see her.

Ezra: Fila Brasileiro

Boy did Ezra's paragraph need an update!! Ezra is now just over 100lbs and is doing great. She had a brief episode of very severe seizures right before her first birthday, but after a trip down to Norristown, and a few meds, she has been seizure free since the beginning of June 2010. She only comes to work when she needs a bath, or if I am working alone because she is really starting to live up to being the guard dog she was meant to be. Well that is unless you are sitting on the couch at her house, with a bag of cookies or a toy, then she's all about being your friend :) She did start training at Consummate Canine, but was unable to finish because of her seizures, should she remain seizure free for another year I would like to continue her training. She is my big baby and boy do I love this dog!
Chelsea Cheesecake

Cheesecake is our newest pup and was recused from a rough situation. She was tied to a tree along with a pit puppy and was starved. Luckily a friend of Lindsay's was able to rescue her and asked if Lindsay knew anyone who wanted a beagle. After losing Piddles about a year earlier, it wasn't hard for us to say yes to another beagley. She, Ezra and Frumply are the best of friends and really enjoy playing ALL THE TIME :) The picture above says everything about Cheezy!

He's finally arrived! Ever since I started competing in creative grooming I knew I HAD to have a Standard Poodle. He truly has been the best puppy anyone could ask for. He comes to work almost everyday and as long as he's not busy sleeping you'll probably see him just as he's pictured above. He comes from a line of other competitive creative dogs and you may have seen his dad, Falcor, on Good Morning America or TLC's Extreme Poodles. One of his most famous hair cuts was when he looked just like a lion. Frost and I have big shoes to fill but we can't wait to start trying!!

Meowlory Me-Purrs

Meowlory came into our family a few weeks after I lost Sugar Puss. I vowed to never get anymore cats, but even with a house full of dogs it still felt empty with out a kitty. We went to a rescue and found this adorable little black ball of fur who has been a part of our family ever since.

We rescued Klawdeea a few months after Meowlory. She is a momma's girl who only like attention for so long before she attacks. She is always doing something to make us wonder what she is thinking, lol.

Sally came into our lives at just over a year old. We saw her in the Cat Shack rescue area at Petsmart. We fell in love with her looks and outgoing personality. She fits right in with our other furry babies and enjoys having a forever home.

Marilyn Nester

Marilyn is Dani's new best buddy she is a pineapple green cheek. As of mid September she has only been with us a few weeks so her true personality is just starting to show. We can't wait until she feels like part of the family :) She is a beautiful little lady :)
Thunder Chicken

Thunder Chicken is a white-bellied caique. We were directed to her from Jennifer, my former groomer. From what we understand she was given up due to a divorce. She is a such a character and is always making us laugh. She can get nippy at times around her cage but is just a doll to her mommy and daddy when she is out.

Beaker is our newest addition. He is a Congo African Grey. He is finally starting to talk or should I say woof and meow! He knows his name and says things like I love you, Hello Beaky, Come here Come here Come here :) And make a poopy, poopy on your paper (hes paper trained, lol)

Another nearly life long dream of mine was to own a horse, and now I finally do! This is Jet, a quarter horse mustang cross. He's the new love of my life and I wish I had all the time in the world to spend with him. We love going out on the trails the most, but are also working with our trainer on some low level dressage. I couldn't be more ecstatic about my newest fur baby!

Miss Josephine Abigail Piddles: Beagle

We lost Miss Piddles to numerous health problems on December 30th, 2009. She was always such a happy beagle and went to a place with no more pain with her tail wagging. I miss her with all my heart. Miss Frumply also lost her dearest friend and has some of her own off days when I can tell she is thinking about her. My deepest sympathy to all who have lost a beloved pet.

Sugar Puss was very special to me and it was awful to lose her. She passed on from a lung tumor in 2006. She will never be forgotten.
