Shop Policies First and foremost, thank you for choosing Bark N’ Bubbles as your trusted pet grooming facility. To ensure the best possible experience for you, your pet, and your groomer; we ask that you review and follow our shop policies
Client Safety and Etiquette Please keep your pet leashed to ensure their safety, as well as that of our other clients.
Please allow your pet to potty before their appointment.
You may wait in our waiting area for your pet, however, because of our open concept design, this may excite your pet, and others we may be working on at the time. Please avoid talking to your pet while he/she is on the table. We work with very sharp tools and want to keep your pet as safe as possible. Most pets are much more relaxed and well-behaved when their parents aren’t around.
If you are not given a pick-up time, please wait for our phone call. Your pet will be very excited to see you and if we are not finished with his/her grooming, we will have to either wait until they settle down, or send your pet home unfinished for their own safety. Please pick up your pet when they are finished. Because we are a cage-free facility, we do not have an area to hold your pet all day. If you will be late picking up your pet, please inform us so that we may make any necessary arrangements.
Please be honest and inform us of any health or aggression issues your pet has. We will do our best to accommodate you, but severely ailing or aggressive pets will be turned away. Please understand that this is for the best interest of your pet as well as our own.
Because we work on dogs on an “in and out” basis, it is pertinent that you are on time for your appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we will have to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged half of your pet’s normal grooming fee if you would like to reschedule. We book a specific time block to take care of your pet and if you are late it will affect all appointments after yours.
If you don’t cancel with-in 24 hours of your appointment or you “no-show” your appointment, you will be charged half of your pet’s normal grooming fee. We would like to take this time to remind you that this is our lively-hood and when you don’t show up we lose the income we need for our own personal bills. We do understand emergency’s happen, and your individual situation will be considered. Please call us if you will be late, or cannot make your appointment.
We do not give appointment confirmation calls unless you request this service in advance.
Pet Details Fleas: If you suspect your pet has fleas, please notify us prior to your appointment so that we can schedule accordingly and inform you of our flea procedures. There are additional fees for pets who have fleas.
Matting: If your pet is severely matted we may not be able to accommodate the style you would like your pet to have. We stick strictly to “humanity before vanity” when it comes to your pet. We will not rip, pull and brush out mats that may cause pain to your excessively matted pet. We will be happy to give your pet a fresh start hair cut, show you how to properly maintain their coat, and get you on a grooming schedule so that you may have the style you would like. Please note: not all dogs tolerate longer styles and we ask that you keep the best interest of your pet in mind when selecting their haircut. There are additional fees for severely matted pets. This includes coat removal and/or prolonged brushing.
In-tact: We accept intact pets, however we ask that you reschedule your appointment if your female is in heat. Their scent can excite other dogs, and it is also messy for us as your groomers. Please watch your in-tact males for marking when you are in our waiting area. There are lots of “good puppy smells” at our shop and even neutered pets may be enticed to mark.

Pricing Pricing will vary greatly between breeds, and even dogs of the same breed. Temperament, age, size, weight, coat condition, style and frequency of grooming will all be factors in determining your pets price. We will be happy to give you a rough guesstimate over the phone, by the details you provide, or at the time of drop-off, however, we cannot guarantee that price. Once we work on your pet we will be able to give you a final price for that grooming.
